A couple of weeks ago I found out about the Autism Beach Bash through a co worker. I was put in contact with one of the organizers Kyllian Warman from Autism Family Services of New Jersey. She sent me some links about the event with a combined effort from Surfers Healing. I was immediately blown away and wanted to be part of this day as an event photographer. There is nothing more enjoyable then seeing passion on someones face which is what makes me work hard at what I do day in and day out.
I mostly stayed by the water as I watched with amazement, these pro surfers taking each kid out into the water so effortlessly as if it was what they were meant to do with their lives. There was numerous kids with surfers and other helpers in the water continuously throughout the day. Hundreds of volunteers ran this event flawlessly from start to finish.
Other then to eat I didn’t want to leave the water as I watched the emotions on not only the faces of the children but on the families as well. It was moment after moment a photographers dream put right in front of me.
Thanks to everyone who made this an amazing day and for allowing me to be part of it.
